410 410 stainless is a corrosion and heat resistant 12% chromium steel. It is the most widely used of the hardenable stainless steels. Heat treated 410 has mechanical properties comparable to the engineering alloy steel AISI 4130, coupled with the additional benefit of good corrosion resistance. 410 is highly resistant to atmospheric corrosion.
410 STAINLESS STEEL410 STAINLESS STEEL 410 STAINLESS STEEL PRODUCT DESCRIPTION SPECIFICATIONS AK Steel Type 410 Stainless Steel sheet and strip is covered by the following specifications:AMS 5504 ASTM A240 AVAILABLE FORMS Type 410 Stainless Steel is produced in coils and cut lengths in thicknesses 0.01 0.125 in. (0.25 3.18 mm) and widths up to 36 in
Specifications Met:ASTM A240. Precision ground on the top and bottom to a tight tolerance, these sheets and bars are also known as flat stock. Often used for fasteners and valves, 410 stainless steel withstands wear caused by abrasion. It maintains its corrosion resistance in temperatures up to 1200° F.
410 Stainless Steel Properties KVA Stainless410 - UNS S41000:AISI Type 410 is a martensitic stainless steel that provides high strength and hardness with moderate corrosion resistance. A wide range of properties can be developed with different heat treatments, with ultimate tensile strengths ranging from 500 to 1400 MPa.
420 Stainless Steel Coil - 420 Stainless Steel StripIn business for over 35 years, we are ISO 9001:2008 certified stocking distributors of stainless steel strip and coil. We handle all of the basic grades of stainless such as 201, 301, 302, 304, 304-L, 316, 316-L, 430, 434, 436, 410, and specializing in 420 stainless steel. Most grades can be purchased in the annealed or tempered condition.
430 stainless steel is an excellent lower cost alternative to the 304 grade for those mild corrosive environments. The corrosion resistance of stainless steel 430 is close to those stainless steels that contain nickel. The 430 grade also offers great strength and takes the knocks of a working kitchen well.
Corrosion Resistant SUS310 Stainless Steel CoilHigh quality Corrosion Resistant SUS310 Stainless Steel Coil from China, China's leading SUS310 stainless steel coils product, with strict quality control 310S stainless coil factories, producing high quality SUS310 Stainless Steel Coil products.
Corrosion resistance levels in stainless steel - RyersonOne of the more widely used ferritic stainless steels is 430. Used in both industrial and consumer products, it offers a combination of good corrosion and heat resistance with good mechanical properties, along with oxidation resistance to 15008 F. For applications where higher corrosion resistance is required, 416 is ideal.

Different Qualities of Stainless Steel - Chef Al's BlogJul 22, 2013 · The most commonly used alloys are 304, 410, 420 and 430. In addition to steel, the alloy 304 contains the durability of 18% chrome and the soft luster of 8% nickel. This rich blend of chrome and nickel provides maximum rust and corrosion protection. 18/8 stainless is regarded most highly and is found in the finest stainless steel flatware.
Stainless steel metals contain at least 10 per cent chromium, with or without additions of other elements. These steels have a principal use in applications requiring resistance to oxidation and/or corrosion. Stainless and heat resisting steels possess unusual resistance to attack by corrosive media at atmospheric and elevated temperatures, and are produced to cover a+ Read More
Stainless Steel Grades - Continental Steel & Tube CompanyAlso known as "marine grade" stainless steel due to its increased resistance to chloride corrosion compared to type 304. SS316 is often used for building nuclear reprocessing plants. Most watches that are made of stainless steel are made of this grade.
